    Simply Impressive
This was my second 3D printer, with the first one being the highly popular 3rd model that shares the same name as Orson Scott Card's most famous character, so I have some experience already. And I have to say, the experience has been phenomenal. It's printing basically out of the box the way it took me months of mods and tweaks to get on my other printer - the only things I installed before printing were a strain relief bracket and cable chain for the bed cables and an updated fan duct, based on feedback from existing Sidewinder owners. I'm now printing some extra covers and accessories (like a tool holder) and can't wait to dive into printing larger, more exciting things.

The pros are too numerous to list. It's a robust, polished machine at a frankly phenomenal price - this is what I'd expect out of a much more expensive printer. And the cons are very minimal:

-There seems to be a persistent firmware error that causes the Light On button in the mid-print options screen to freak out and not work. I've seen this in at least one YouTube review and that part of the screen works perfectly anywhere else, so it seems like a relatively simple software fix. I have a flashlight nearby anyway.

-The X-axis endstop had two minor issues - it needed to be unplugged and re-plugged before it would register at all (the connector looked like it was seated properly but apparently that's not the case) and it didn't seem far enough over to register off of the metal parts of the extruder carriage. I didn't want to move the entire circuit board so as to not cause a twist in the ribbon cable, so I swapped the M3-12 bolt for an M3-25 and added some washers behind the sensor so it would pick up on the metal of the extruder assembly.

-The tools included seem to be of high quality but two critical tools from my printing experience seem to be missing: a bed scraper and a flush cutter. You could argue that the scraper shouldn't be necessary because of the glass bed, but the coating on the glass is really sticky - I've had to pry pretty hard with the scraper I have and haven't even cleaned the bed in between each print as I do on my other machine. And flush cutters are nice for trimming off the ends of filament, removing brims, and the like.

These concerns are minor and either were solved quickly or could be solved in a future update. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this as a first printer - it's easier to cut your teeth on a $200 machine that can be upgraded more easily than something polished like the Sidewinder - but as a second printer, I think it'd be top notch in its size class even without factoring in the great price.

    Guter Drucker

    Meine Druckparameter:
    PLA (Amazon Basic White)
    Bett temp: 60°C
    Anfängliche Drucktemp: 205°C
    Weitere Drucktemp: 195°C
    Geschwindigkeit: 60 mm/sek
    Infill: 15%

    Anmerkungen:

Faster 3d printer I ever seen
This machine checked all the boxes for me:
    1. Large format (300x300x400 build area) The bed is slightly over sized so it is a fully use able area.
    2. Volcano hotend- it appears to not be a genuine but seems to work quite well. It comes with a .4 nozzle. This works quite well but I imagine down the road I will put at least a .8 nozzle on this machine.
    3. Filament runout sensor- it mounts at the top of the machine and initiates an automated routine controlled by the touch screen.
    4. TOUCH SCREEN! Capacitive! Works quite well, I was worried about the size but the menus and general use work quite well.
    5. Low price but with support included- in all my interactions with Artillery 3D they have been amazing to deal with. Helped walked me through a couple hiccups with kindness and understanding. Very odd to see as I don’t see that kind of service with very large companies I deal with.
    6. Silent Drivers- The only Noise is a subtle fan noise. If my robos are on (not printing- just on) I can’t hear this machine running.

The machine is very low maintenance and so easy to use. It is sturdy as well with an all metal frame and barely wobbles. I assembled the Artillery 3D printer and I got to print my first print within 30mins. Print quality is amazing. Mark my words, this is going to be a game changer in 2019. I wanted to let you know that this is one of the highest quality printers I have ever used! You guys have done an excellent job!

So far I have been thrilled. I have not had much time with the machine but have printed some things and am tuning a Simplify 3D.

Overall, for anyone who is looking for an easy intro to 3D printing this is definitely a good choice.
